The municipality of Bergen has set up 3,000 new computers in the schools between May of 2009 and September of 2009, and they have the following conclusion for the project:

Moonscape makes sure the computers are restored at every restart, minimizes delays and problems, as well as problems with viruses and spam.

”The main goal was to get a solution that ensures that each computer is working for every class, and to reduce the delays and problem issues for both students and teachers. In order to achieve this, we had to limit the students’ ability to mess up the set-up of each computer, and we did a lot of work and testing with this. The solution was to buy third-party software from Moonscape, which lets the computer restart with a clean and original set-up every time. The ICT-personnel can install software and extra features, and can therefore change the settings. So far, we are very pleased with this solution.”
